About Me

I have written a variety of materials for colossal companies, one-woman operations, and everything in between. And because written communication is so important to me, I combine my experience as a career writer with the patience and strategy of a teacher to provide individualized tutoring services for students and content coaching for adults in all things writing-related. I have an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College.

I love words and believe in their power to impact people.

On the last day of first grade, I was awarded the distinction of Class Journalist. Since then, I've been hired to write a variety of materials for both public and private entities, colossal companies, one-woman operations, and television shows like HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher and USA’s Suits.

And because written communication is so important to me, I combine my experience as a career writer with the patience and strategy of a teacher to provide individualized tutoring services for students and creative coaching for professionals in all things writing-related.

I think outside the box when instructing kids, supporting adult writers, and creating content, whether crafting op-eds for the founder of a nonprofit, teaching an eighth grader writing skills she will take to college and beyond, or collaborating with a business owner to develop authentic website copy they feel proud of.

I’m also writing a book called A Home for Tomorrow about building community through shared space and shared values, which will be published by Beacon Press in 2026.

I earned my Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College, my Bachelor of Arts in government and film studies from Smith College, and studied journalism at the University of Pittsburgh Honors College. My pronouns are she/her.
